I have decided to setup this website and blog for our precious daughter Christal (恩慧) for memoirs sake after one of my sisters gave me a book for recording the 1st year of a baby's life. My handwriting isn't exactly nice and I know that the pages wouldn't be enough for me. I am trying to record her diary chronologically from her birth. So bear with me when you read long long entries!
A little info about our precious daughter.
Her Christian name is Christal (pronounced as Crystal). It is birth from Mervyn's prayers. Crystals are clear and transparent. Our daughter will be transparent before the world to show Christ to the world. As her life will reflect Christ so it is spelt Christal. Her chinese name 恩慧. 恩 is the chinese word for God's grace. 慧 is the Chinese word for wisdom. So she will have both God's grace and God's wisdom.
Why princess?
Hmmmm, I have called her our princess as when a friend was praying for Christal even before she was born, he prophesied saying that she is indeed a PRINCESS as Jesus is our King! Thus, PRINCESS.
However, sad to say, I cannot really remember all Christal's firsts.... which is why I have this set up so that I can jot them down somewhere to help me remember before age catches up with me!
